Congratulations! Can you tell us about your current role?

I am a Trainee Accountant for Kingswood LLP.

Which exams did you sit in September and what was your result?

Audit and Assurance with 98%.

That’s a fantastic score. What was your approach to studying?

My approach focused on applying the technical knowledge gained from the tuition course to question practice early on. Utilising the exam techniques and tips given by my tutor were also invaluable.

Did you have support from your employer?

I was given study leave by my employer for the tuition and revision course at First Intuition.

What was the most important factor that lead to you becoming an ICAEW prizewinner?

Practising as many questions as possible under timed conditions to replicate the real exam allowed me to be confident and ready on exam day.

If you had one piece of advice for future students, what would it be?

Create a study plan and stick to it – discipline is key.
