  • Bupa

Bupa has worked with First Intuition since we launched our Finance & Governance Graduate programme in 2018. Every year, we have circa 5 graduates joining the programme. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic we had to move our trainees from in person course delivery to online course delivery. This process was well managed by First Intuition and had minimal impact on our trainees. The online course delivery has been effective for our trainees with no adverse impacts on exam results.

First Intuition kept us up to date on all changes to the ACA study and exam schedules and supported Bupa where changes needed to be implemented, or decisions made, so we were able to effectively manage the continued studies of our trainees.

First Intuition have been a great support through the pandemic which has helped us to ensure that our trainees continue to progress in their ACA studies.

    Kate Sweetland, Early Careers Manager

  • Our students were really impressed with the quality of tuition from FI in Birmingham and we have been very pleased with the pass rates to date and level of service we have received locally. We are delighted First Intuition has launched in the West Midlands to give more choice to local and regional clients.

    Claire Davis, HR Director

  • Titan Airways

The feedback that I get from my team members about their studies at First Intuition is always excellent. The brilliant tutors are what makes First Intuition an excellent place to study, which is backed up with first class exam success rates. I regularly hear from my studiers that the tutors at First Intuition are first rate, just as they were when I was studying. As an employer, the support I receive from First Intuition is fantastic. The tutors provide me as training manager with excellent feedback on how my students are getting on. The tutors at First Intuition are always willing to go that extra mile if a student needs that little extra help too.

    Stefan Payne, Chief Financial Officer

  • Fremantle

Throughout the pandemic, First Intuition have provided excellent support to our students and to our business.

They have maintained strong communication with us and our apprentices which was very helpful in navigating through this difficult year.

All the classes have swiftly moved online and our students continued to get top class tuition. This gave them the best chance of succeeding in their examinations.

    Adele Farmer, HR Manager

  • Barnes Roffe

We were very impressed with the way FI coped with the pandemic. From the very start when Boris gave his announcement the communication from FI was instant and for our students who were part way through their classroom sessions at the time the transition to online classes was seamless. Further regular communication kept us informed about the upcoming courses we had in the pipeline and changes made were clear and very well organised.

As the pandemic went on, there was a lot of communication coming from the professional bodies. FI did a very helpful regular email with all the updates from these bodies so that we knew exactly what was happening as well as what FI were doing internally to deliver the best possible service. We also had further regular contact with our liaison at FI who would go further in analysing what would be our best alternative options each time a change occurred.  This helped us a lot with our students who were understandably disrupted, confused and stressed with all the changes happening.

After initial resistance, which would be expected, the online delivery of classes has received very good feedback from our students. We have experienced no negative impact in terms of exam results which must be a sign of the quality of the teaching and service received during these difficult times.

  • HW Fisher & Co

FI have helped tremendously in delivering our programme mainly through their continuous support and guidance surrounding the rules and regulations for apprenticeships. They induct all of our students from the outset which clearly outlines the firm’s and training provider’s expectations throughout the programme. In addition, they have designed various workshop days which develop the soft skills of our students. Lastly, they provide constant support to the students with their e-portfolios and hold individual quarterly meetings to ensure the students are on track with their development.

Chloe Bourne and Francesca Rubie, Professional Training Team

  • Goodman Jones

The staff really do put the effort in to get to know the students and to give them the best chance of succeeding in their examinations. The specific individual feedback we receive on our trainees after each course really helps us better manage their training and development.

    Charlotte Tong, Senior Manager

  • Ecovis

We have a number of students with First Intuition and when the pandemic hit we were very concerned about the effect on the students’ learning.

We were very impressed with how First Intuition adapted so quickly to providing online tuition and their continued support of our students. We are looking forward to getting the trainees back in the classroom but for now the online method is suiting everyone very well.

We have nothing but praise for First Intuition’s response in these difficult circumstances.

    Louisa Oliver, Manager

  • SRG

During the course of the pandemic, First intuition have sent out regular updates, and ensured that the firm have been kept in the loop at all the times.

The move onto online courses for our students have been hassle-free, and they have continued to get the best out of the teaching.

Responses from tutors have been second to none throughout and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend First Intuition to any employer (in or out of a pandemic!).

    Lauren Rock, Partner

  • Clarkson Hyde

We made the decision to switch to First Intuition a number of years ago based on our perception that the college provided a more personal service to our students with good quality tutors and reporting to us on our students’ progress.

    Peter Minchell, Staff Partner

  • Bidwells

I would recommend First Intuition to other employers, primarily because of the support received by not only my apprentices, but also by myself, in understanding my team’s progression. Ultimately the things I like the most about First Intuition are their professional but relaxed approach, the informative progress meetings and reports I get, and the enjoyment they bring to the courses studied by my apprentices.

Philip Smith, Accounts Manager, Client Accounting

  • Kirk Newsholme

First Intuition have proven themselves to be the perfect fit for us to partner with to offer our trainees the highest quality support and training. The administration team and teaching team all go the extra mile to ensure our Apprenticeships are rolled out in the most effective way. They offer and deliver a wide range of courses which can be tailored to suit each individual. We very much enjoy and value our working relationship with the team at FI.

    Amy Carter

  • Pem

My firm loves working with First Intuition because they deliver the results we need. We invest a lot of time and effort in ensuring that we develop quality individuals over the course of their training contracts and First Intuition play a big part in this. Certainly, we are always delighted with the pass rates when compared to the national averages. I would recommend First Intuition to other employers without hesitation. In a nutshell – superb – and we wouldn’t consider using anyone else!
