FI Birmingham Centre
FI Birmingham is a core part of our plans and there are a number of compelling reasons for this expansion:
- The Midlands represents a dynamic and exciting marketplace with a wide range of employers that could benefit from a more personal approach to training.
- Our experience in cities like Leeds and Bristol has been that clients and students are keen to take part in the “FI experience”. We want to bring this opportunity to employers and students in the Birmingham area.
- The FI Online team has been in Birmingham since late 2018. This has given the team a chance to really get to know a range of local employers and the service they would like. The feedback on our approach has been overwhelmingly positive. Consequently, this has validated our belief that a passionate training provider who focuses on quality education, coupled with quality administration and service, adds value to employers and students.
- There have been recent changes to how apprenticeship funding can be accessed for non-levy paying employers. These changes will allow FI Birmingham to support all employers (regardless of size) keen to use apprenticeships to develop modern finance professionals.
The centre is led by James Morley (firstname.lastname@example.org), Managing Director FI Birmingham and Online. James has worked in Professional Education since 2008, supporting both employers and students develop learning pathways that work for them.
James is supported by our Programme Lead, Hannah Campbell (email@example.com), and their dedicated service and operations team. Teaching will be delivered by a number of the FI tutor team including Ginny Bradwell and Ravi Trivedi. You will struggle to find a more experienced tutor team. They have over 40 years of experience between them.
We are currently recruiting for skills coaches, tutors and student advisors. If you are interested in an informal discussion please contact Hannah.
