Sarah has been training students for nearly 20 years, and in this time has taught in three continents, trained several ACCA prizewinners and been a professional training centre manager. She teaches financial reporting and tax papers. Outside of the classroom, Sarah is a mum to two young boys and a self-confessed reality TV addict.

Camilla qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006, and has experience working as both an Audit Manager and Finance Director in Guernsey, before starting teaching in 2015. She teaches audit, management accounting, and business and investment courses. Camilla spends her “free time” chasing around after her two young sons and two mischievous dogs.

Alice began teaching immediately after finishing her own exams, where she was an ACCA Global Prizewinner. She primarily teaches tax, law, financial accounting and offshore administration papers, based on her three years’ experience in private clients administration. When not teaching, Alice can be found at her greenhouse, surrounded by her growing flock of chickens and ducks.

Anna became ICAEW-qualified in 2010, whilst working for one of the Big 4 in the Channel Islands. She has since worked as ACA UK Accounting Subject Head for Kaplan, before moving to write and deliver in-house audit and financial reporting courses for RSM UK. Out of the office, Anna enjoys long walks, even though she often ends up chasing her toddler twins in opposite directions!

Kawthar qualified as Chartered Accountant in 2016, after spending 3 years working in external audit in Mauritius. She immediately started teaching after finishing her studies and focuses on bringing an all-round excellent learning experience to her students. Kawthar ensures there is continuous interaction in her classes and flexes her approach to provide individual support to each of her students. During her free time, Kawthar is all over Netflix and loves to binge-watch the newest releases.

Richard began his career as a science teacher before  obtaining a Masters degree with distinction in Corporate Governance, and also become an associate member of CGIUKI. Since then, Richard has taught ACCA, ICAEW, CGIUKI and CIMA courses specialising in corporate governance, company secretarial, trust and company and law papers. Outside of the classroom, Richard enjoys walks with both his family and his rescue greyhound Ava, and building Westfield sportscars.

Guy qualified as a chartered accountant in South Africa in 2015 with PwC, whilst also tutoring and lecturing at the University of Cape Town. He spent a year travelling through South and Central America before moving to Jersey in 2017. Guy has worked as an auditor, a senior financial accountant in a private equity firm and an advisory manager before joining First Intuition to return to his passion of teaching.  Outside of work Guy enjoys surfing and spearfishing whenever the weather allows.

Cherry is a fully-qualified Company Secretary, having worked in the finance industry in Guernsey for many years. She has previously delivered both in-house and professional training courses, and supported students in her various roles. Outside of work, Cherry is quite the jet-setter and likes to go on as many holidays as possible.

Lynne has extensive experience in professional qualifications administration, having worked for a professional tuition provider for over 15 years.  Lynne joined FI in 2021 and shares the Client Services Manager role, supporting students and clients with their queries, course and exam bookings. In her spare time, Lynne enjoys cycling, walking her daughter’s puppy and playing golf.

Emma is a qualified member of ICSA and has been delivering training since 2008. Most notably, she has previously been the Degree Programme Director for the Jersey on-island BSc in International Financial Services awarded by the University of Buckingham. Out of the office, Emma is kept on her toes by her two teenage daughters.

After completing her International Baccalaureate, Tayler went straight into working and has over four years’ experience in a variety of administration and customer facing roles. In her spare time, she loves all things creative and currently has two wall murals on display at “Amigos” bar.

Mandy is our very own history buff! She has spent years researching and writing about RMS Titanic and also loves to travel. She has even journeyed to Easter Island to study its culture and world famous Moai Statues. Mandy has worked in the finance industry in Jersey for over 35 years, primarily in Compliance and AML. She brings a Compliance Officer’s attention to detail to everything she does, from looking after our students to sorting out our cupboards!
