These interactive evening sessions are designed to help you refresh critical syllabus areas, provide extra support and reinforce your learning. Our Case Study experts will cover key syllabus areas throughout 3 Online Live evening sessions. For each topic covered, there will be a short scenario-based question to prepare you for the style of question you’ll be asked in the Case Study exam.
CIMA Technical Top-Up sessions are designed for students looking to top-up their technical knowledge from core CIMA modules, and recap how to apply this in a Case Study scenario. Sessions are bought in packages of three evenings, where you will join an expert tutor and peers online in the virtual classroom.
CIMA Technical Top-Up session packages are priced as follows:
Operational level: £300 £200 for FI Case Study students
Management level: £325 £200 for FI Case Study students
Strategic Level: £350 £200 for FI Case Study students
Who are Technical Top-Up sessions for?
CIMA Technical Top-Up sessions are perfect for anyone studying CIMA who feels they would benefit from boosting their confidence in the core knowledge needed to pass the Case Study of the level they are working on. For example, this could be:
Those with exemptions from the core modules, e.g. P1, E1, F1 at Operational Level or P2, E2, F2 at Management Level or P3, E3, F3 at Strategic Level.
Those that have had a gap in studies between sitting the core papers and case study exams.
Those that are resitting the case study exam.
FI students studying via CIMA Unlimited packages or CIMA FLP – CIMA Technical Top-Up sessions are now included as part of your course package.
How will I be learning?
The sessions will be delivered using Adobe Connect, where polls and interaction will be used to make each session engaging and learning focused.
For each topic covered, there will be a short scenario-based question to prepare you for the style of question you’ll be asked in the Case Study exam.

CIMA’s CGMA Finance Leadership Programme (FLP) provides a digital-first pathway to gaining the CIMA qualification.
This programme features an alternative learning and assessment model, and only requires students to complete the Case Study exams. The work you do on the platform will earn you “exemptions” from the Objective Test modules at the Operational, Management, and Strategic levels.
