Graham has been teaching taxation, management accounting and financial management for 23 years. He is always keen to make it as engaging as is possible. Outside work he is an excellent climbing frame for his four young daughters.

Jim has been helping accountants pass their professional exams for over 20 years. He teaches auditing, financial reporting, ethics and law. Away from the classroom, Jim enjoys running and has completed numerous marathons and ultra-marathons; the main reason for burning off all of those calories is to allow him to indulge in his other great enjoyment, cooking.

Andy has been training accountancy students for over 25 years, specialising in Financial Management, Strategy and Case Study papers, having previously worked in industry and practice. Outside work Andy enjoys travel (visiting his 4 children as well as further afield), walking and a good walk spoiled on the golf course.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2002, James started teaching in 2004. Since then, he has taught, designed and run programmes which have helped thousands of students around the world earn accounting and management qualifications in Professional and Higher Education. Away from work James is a School Governor and helps coach his sons’ football teams.

Christina has been teaching a variety of taxation and audit papers since 2006, having previously worked in practice. When not chasing around after her young children, she enjoys walking, running and singing in a local acapella choir.

Alex qualified with PwC UK, specialising in referred reporting audit engagements. After tutoring a number of the graduate training courses, Alex decided to move into teaching full time and joined First Intuition Bristol in 2021. Outside of work, Alex enjoys hiking around the Welsh coast with her dogs and photography.

Andrew has 25 years of international industry experience as a CIMA qualified accountant. In this time he has had many roles giving him a breadth of experience to draw on. Andrew particularly enjoys being able to use his technical knowledge and practical experience to help his students learn and pass their exams.

Jack qualified with Albert Goodman LLP having taught science for a number of years. After a few years in various roles Jack decided to combine his two passions and move back to teaching. Outside the classroom he enjoys running and spending time with his son.

Shona has been teaching Tax to accountancy students for over twenty years, combining this with course material updates and producing three children. Now her kids are growing up she is enjoying a bit more time pursuing her own interests of volunteering and trying to find a sports activity she can stick at.

Jackie qualified with Albert Goodman LLP and then worked in industry for a number of years gaining a large breadth of practical experience to draw on. After delivering both external and internal financial training courses to colleagues and clients, Jackie decided to move into teaching full time and joined First Intuition Bristol in 2024. Outside the classroom Jackie loves to run, hike and spend time with her family.

Kate qualified in a medium sized firm in London, working on audit, accounts and corporation tax before working in the Biotechnology industry as a Financial Accountant. Kate is one of our tutors who predominantly teaches Financial Management and Management Accounting Papers. Kate is a keen runner and self-taught nail artist.

Clare has worked in Apprenticeships for over 15 years and is CIMA qualified. She is also an Ofsted Inspector, inspecting a range of advanced and higher-level apprenticeships. She lives in South Wales where she indulges in her hobbies of walking and gardening.

Kirsty joined FI Bristol in February 2018. She is now responsible for managing the quality of our apprenticeship provision, to include onboarding and coaching. Outside of work Kirsty is a keen motorsport enthusiast.

Alison joined in August 2017 as a Client Service Advisor after years in retail gaining extensive experience in customer service, management and leadership.  Outside of work, Alison likes to travel, enjoys spending time with her husband and dog on long walks in the countryside.

Liam joined the First Intuition team in March 2021 as a Skills and Development Coach. He has a great range of previous experience in coaching within the education and sport industry. Outside of work Liam enjoys watching sport in particular the football as well as keeping active.

Mark joined the team in August 2023 as a Skills and Development Coach. Mark came from an Education background covering a wide range of topics, most of all Sports. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his children and keeping active through playing football.

Aimee joined FI in July 2023 as a Skills and Development Coach. Her previous experience was supporting in education. Aimee had spent time travelling Australia prior to this and in her spare time, enjoys seeing family and friends, going for walks and baking.

Emma joined First Intuition in August 2019. She supports our online apprentices across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Gloucestershire. She also works with apprentices needing additional English and Maths support. Emma’s free time is spent volunteering at her local cricket club as the club Treasurer, enjoying live music events with friends and family, and collecting vinyl records.

Jeff joined FI Bristol in October 2019 as a Skills & Development coach covering the South West and Wiltshire area. Jeff was an apprentice himself with FI Bristol, studying AAT level 3 bringing a wealth of experience to support apprentices.

Emily joined the First Intuition team as a Skills and Development Coach in July 2021. She comes from an education background where part of her role was to support learners with additional needs. In her spare time, Emily enjoys time spent staying active with her golden retriever, DIY projects on her home and fundraising, building and performing as a member and stage captain of a club that participates in the largest illuminated carnival.

Alex joined the team in June 2021, he comes from a sports coaching background, teaching a variety of sports. Outside of work Alex enjoys spending time with his family, and is also a big football fan.

Niall joined the FI team in January 2022 as a skills and development coach. He has extensive experience in the hospitality industry as a head chef and in bar/kitchen management. Outside of work he is a huge sports fan and enjoys playing golf and cooking.

Cat joined the team in January 2024 as a Skills and Development Coach after previously working in Childcare for 10 years. Outside of work she enjoys travelling, socialising, spending time with her friends and keeping active at the gym.

Gemma joined First Intuition in January 2024, bringing with her a background in coaching within the weight loss and wellbeing space. She’s passionate about helping people achieve their goals and supporting them along their journey. Outside of work, Gemma enjoys reading historical fiction and is a lifelong fan of musical theatre.

Lewis joined the First Intuition team in June 2023 as a Skills and Development Coach. He has a great range of experience in coaching and management within many industries. Outside of work, Lewis enjoys spending time with his family and watching, coaching, and playing sports.

Kayleigh joined the team in August 2023 as a Skills and Development Coach. She comes from an apprenticeship background herself, after going straight from college to start a Business and Administration apprenticeship. Outside of work, Kayleigh enjoys spending time with her two cockapoos, going out with friends, reading, and making the most of the weekends by taking short weekend stayaways.

Tanley joined the FI family in April 2024. She has had the experience of diving into the world of customer service and au pairing in Australia.

On a more personal note, she is all about her husky, books, and design. When she is not grinding away at work, you’ll likely find her trotting around the globe, soaking up new experiences and discovering hidden gems.

Kathryn has a background in banking and education, she is married with 3 children.  Kathryn has a motorhome and has travelled many places in Europe and the UK.  Other than travelling she enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with friends.

Anna joined the First Intuition team in 2024 as a Skills and Development Coach. She brings a background in teaching and management, with an interest in helping others grow and succeed. Outside of work, Anna enjoys running, spending time outdoors with friends & family and persuading her partner to book more flights!

Chloe started April 2025 and her background is in credit control and purchase ledger. Beyond the workplace, my family and I find joy in travelling around the UK in our motorhome – always eager to uncover hidden gems and scenic views.

Lauren joined the First Intuition team in 2024 as a Skills and Development Coach. She has a range of experience including Employee Development, Teaching and Project Management. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys travel and photography.

Ania joined the team in November 2021 as an Applications Administrator. Previously, she worked as a Quality Assurance Advisor in a health insurance company. Outside of the office, Ania enjoys hiking, bird watching, horse riding and dancing.

Nicole joined the team in February 2022 as the Funding Administrator, after spending the previous few years working with children in the Education sector. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with her children and dogs and nurturing her ever-growing vegetable garden.

Elsie joined the team in 2023 after previously working as a Hotel Receptionist, administrator, and assisting with the marketing function. Outside of work Elsie enjoys doing fun nail designs, cooking, and looking after her pet rabbit, Nori.

Isabel joined First Intuition during 2024, she comes from a sporting background and was a fitness instructor before joining FI. Outside of work she enjoys surfing, cooking, hiking and skiing. At home she enjoys creating latte art with her barista coffee machine.

Abbie joined the team in September 2021 as our office Administrator. On weekends/ in her spare time she likes to socialize, as well as going for food with her friends and family.

Max joined First Intuition July 2021 as a Client Service Advisor. In his spare time he likes to cook, go for walks and is a keen handyman.

Megan joined the team in May 2025 as our Exams Coordinator, after working in the hotel industry as a Distribution Executive. In her free time she loves cooking, reading and doing jigsaw puzzles.
