The Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping is an entry level qualification made up of two bookkeeping units. Once students have completed the Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping, students can progress directly to the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.
This qualification takes between 2 months and 6 months to complete. Alternatively, students can complete the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting qualification, which comprises four modules in bookkeeping and finance.

The Professional Diploma in Accounting builds on the financial accounting and management accounting knowledge from the level 3 Diploma in Accounting. Students will also learn about the internal controls that make a good accounting system. Students also need to study two optional units from a choice of Personal Tax, Business Tax, Auditing, Cash and Financial Management, and Credit and Debt Management. After completion of the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting students can apply for full membership of AAT and get the Designatory letters MAAT after their name.
In this module you will learn about, maintaining financial records, making adjustments to accounting records and financial statements, preparing financial statements, and professional ethics.

Advanced Audit and Assurance will teach you how to analyse, evaluate, and report on assurance engagements, as well as other issues in audit and assurance. Please note that the AAA paper requires a thorough understanding of the financial reporting standards examined in SBR.
