Charity Football Tournament with FI Chelmsford
We’re so excited to invite our students, clients, FI colleagues and wider network to join us at our first FI Charity Football Tournament. All profits will be donated to our chosen charity, The Children’s Society. This is a 5-a-side competition, so start to select your best players or brush up on your skills
The tournament will take place between 10 am and 2 pm on Sunday the 19th of June and as this is Father’s Day, there will be plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
The tournament will take place at Great Notley Discovery Centre which has an on-site cafe, and plenty of parking.
There will be a trophy for the winner, as well as the prestige of winning the inaugural FI Charity Football Tournament.

How to enter and how it will work
We’re inviting teams of up to 6 players to join us on the day. Alternatively, if you wish to enter as an individual, you can join one of our open teams.
- Team entry is £50 (covering 6 players) 2 extra subs are allowed at a cost of £5 per player
- Individual entry is £5

- Once you’ve decided upon a team or to enter as an individual and you’ve made your payment, email dannysutton@fi.co.uk with the details of your team or your name.
- Danny will enter you into the competition and if you’re joining as a single player, he’ll advise you of your allocated team
Each game will be 15 minutes long and we have 3 qualified referees on hand to ensure rules are adhered to. The budget unfortunately did not stretch to VAR.
With space for 8 teams, this means each team will play around 60 minutes minimum on the day. So start doing those training drills now.
