Matt qualified with KPMG before joining BPP in 1995.  During his time with BPP he held a variety of positions including Managing Director of Southampton and Reading and, more recently, National Head of Corporate Solutions.  Matt teaches financial reporting, tax and economics.

Claire Needham

Director & Tutor

Claire qualified with PwC before joining BPP in Reading in 2000. Claire was managing director of BPP’s Reading office before joining First Intuition. Claire teaches financial reporting, auditing and management accounting.

Ryan Hill

Director & Tutor

Ryan worked in an accountancy practice for 8 years before becoming a tutor at BPP in 2007. Ryan teaches financial reporting, auditing, risk, ethics and business strategy. Nominated for PQs Lecturer of the Year 2015!

Jo Dyson

Director & Tutor

Jo qualified as a solicitor before joining KPMG in 1994 where she completed the Chartered Tax qualification.  She has 15 year’s experience working in practice at KPMG and Deloitte before joining First Intuition.  Jo teaches tax, law, business strategy and management accounts.

John Bannon

Director & Tutor

John joined First Intuition from his role as an internal auditor and now teaches management accounting, economics and maths.  John brings a wealth of real life experience and enthusiasm to the classroom.

Rachel Hine


Rachel qualified with Windsor Accounting having studied at First Intuition.  She teaches financial accounting, audit and law.  When not teaching she busies herself planning for a wedding and baking amazing cakes.

Allie Kisiel


Allie studied law with criminology before qualifying with a large investment company based in Newbury.  She teaches management accounting, business strategy and finance bringing her range of experience into the classroom.  She also won the British Championships as an ice-skater!

Joey Harman

Tutor and school leaver programme director

Joey joins us in 2017 following twenty years at Kaplan.  She teaches tax, audit and accountancy as well as implementing our new school leaver programme helping students reach their full potential.

Ellie Polding

Customer services manager

Ellie heads up our customer services department.  She will be on hand to welcome you at college and is delighted to deal with any questions you may have. She is responsible for student welfare and generally keeping the rest of us on our best behaviour.

Becka Forrester

Customer services

Becka looks after our computer based exams and general customer services. She is always happy to help our trainees with their day to day needs at college, before going home to her beloved dog Louie!
