FAQ's

What materials/support do I get? - Exam focussed course notes written by a tutor who is a subject expert, study text or revision kit, passcards and course exams. Access to online recorded lectures and full out of hours study support from your tutor.

When can I take my Computer Based Exams? - These are available on demand - so choose a time to suit you.

How can I contact my tutor? - You will get an e-mail address AND a mobile phone number. As they are Maidstone based you can also arrange to meet them at the centre for one-to-one help. We promote an Open Door policy.

Is it really local customer service? - Yes, all enquries, course and CBE bookings, order processing, credit control, facilities management etc. are dealt with by Chris Ellis the Office Manager - you will be given his direct line number.

With a 'small' team how can you teach so many courses? - We have 3 full-time tutors and a part-time tutor. We use a tutor from FI Cambridge to teach the specialist high level Business Strategy papers. Between us we have over 30 years of experience and have successfully taught the papers many times before. Historically it has always been a small team in Maidstone. We have no other major responsibilities such a material production - we can be dedicated tutors.

What if a tutor is ill? - Historically this was not an issue and now as owners of the business we are even more committed to our students. A tutor would have to be 'at death's door' for them not to be able to teach - we know the impact such disruption has on students and clients alike. If a rare situation did arise we would be able to react quickly and rearrange the course as we are operating at a local level - not prolong the uncertainty or leave it to the last minute as we try to find a tutor from another part of the business or a suitable freelancer.

What experience do the tutors have? - We all worked previously for another local provider. Our pass rates were consistently excellent as was the student feedback on the courses. That centre was a CIMA Learning Quality Partner and had ACCA Platinum Status. Many of you already know us having been taught by us and passed exams with us. Some of you will have managers or colleagues who have trained with us - please ask them what they think.

Is there any client that dictates the courses you run? - No. Our course offering has been tailored, based on our vast local experience, to be the best for every student - one that gets them successfully through the exam as painlessly as possible.

Will you honour the Pass Assurance I have from another provider? - Yes.

How can you offer such fantastic value for money? - We do not have corporate overheads to support, we need to be competitive as a new entrant in the marketplace and seek realistic returns. Local businesses need to support each other.
