
The ICAEW exams require a lot of hard work and preparation.
Knowledge level modules are assessed by computer based examination (CBE) of 1.5 hours each. These can be sat at any time at any licensed tuition provider or at driving test theory centres. The pass mark is 55%.
Application level modules are written exams of 2.5 hours each. There are 4 exam sittings per year, in March, June, September and December. The pass mark is 55%.
Professional stage modules are written exams of 3.5 hours each and the case study is 4 hours. There are 2 exam sittings per year, in July and December. The pass mark is 50%.
You may have up to four attempts at each exam, though your employer may give you less.
