CIMA Chartered Management Accounting Qualification

The CIMA Chartered Management Accounting Qualification is ideal for those seeking a career in finance or management within a company or business environment. Anyone can study for the CIMA qualification and if you have previously studied a relevant subject at degree level you may be eligible for exemptions from some subjects. MBA holders may be eligible to fast track using the CIMA Gateway entry route.

There are no minimum entry requirements, but school leavers or those without a relevant degree will have to start with the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting.

CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting

The CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting is a qualification in its own right and comprises five subjects in accountancy and business. Students wishing to progress to the CIMA Chartered Management Acccounting Qualification must complete the Certificate level exams as follows:

• To study for Chartered exams in May - complete Certificate level by 1 March
• To study for Chartered exams in November - complete Certificate level by 1 September
