The AAT Accounting Qualification is designed to give students the practical skills they need in the workplace and once qualified you can typically earn 15% more than unqualified staff. And as a qualified AAT you can fast track into either the ACCA or ICAEW qualification if you wish to develop your career in accountancy.
The AAT qualification is made up of three levels, each of which is a qualification in is own right:
Each level comprises a number of papers which are assessed by computer based exam or project. Find out more about exams and assessments.
To become fully AAT qualified you must complete Level 4. Most students complete the qualification in 2-3 years, but it is possible complete it in just one year - it really depends on where you start, how you study and how quickly you progress through the exams. One of our home study students completed all seven Level 3 exams in just 19 days!
